Honestly my favorite IceCream shop to go to! When I’m in the area craving ice cream, this will always be the way to go!! (They were also even featured on a Vice Episode!)

Seriously a gem of living in the east bay! Mr. Desires Cashew Creamery is a lactose free treat. They have solid flavors like Chocolate Coconut and Mocha Chip but have seasonal flavors also. Our favorite is the Rum Raisin that comes out only during the holidays. It's such a treat we buy it by the pint! If you're in Albany do yourself a favor and stop by this institution of frozen delights.

This place is so good!! I usually go for regular dairy ice cream, but this cashew ice cream is so creamy and tasty. This place is preferable to traditional ice cream, I was so impressed and blown away.

A good change from dairy based ice cream place to grab dessert after a meal. The texture is a bit different at first but after a few bites you get used to it and start to enjoy its rich texture and flavors they have. I would recommend trying it out as the people working there are friendly and definitely good for those with dairy allergies or intolerance.I'm hoping they'll have more flavors or rotate different ones to switch it up.

O. To the M. G. I have never tried gluten soy or dairy free ice cream in my life-and I am now in Heaven!!!!! Mr. Ari suggested to try flavors and was very nice! I opted for the green tea flavor---velvetty goodness!!!

This place is amazing. I don't need to be non-dairy, but I choose this over regular ice cream because it's that good. Roasted cashew and chocolate orange chip are my favorites. Unique, bold and creamy flavors that keep you going back for another scoop!Also, great customer service during shelter-in-place. Stayed open on Saturdays for pick up.

As someone who has had to cut out dairy, I was so excited to try this place, and it didn't disappoint! The banana nut and orange chocolate flavors were amazing. My kids scarfed down the strawberry and said nothing about it being different. They loved it, too!

Best ice cream EVER. This is how you convert dairy ice cream eaters to plant based ice creams. I drive all the way from Sonoma County just for this. Please open a location or sell in stores in the North Bay!

Before the deluge of dairy-free ice creams, there was Mr. Dewie’s. This place is such a treat, with several varieties. It’s practically an institution.

I really wanted to give Mr. Dewie's a 5-star review, because everything about my in-store experience was awesome! Great flavors (especially strawberry!), great assistance, etc., but there was just something a tiny bit off about the pint I took home of the caramel almond crunch that left my stomach a bit uneasy. In the store I was (and still am!) fine eating it and every other flavor, but the two times I tried it at home, it gave me an upset stomach. I still go to the store and get the fresh stuff because it's amazing, and I would and do recommend that all my friends do the same, but it would take a lot to get me to try another take-home pint.

Who would have known vegan ice cream would be good? I wasn't expecting it, but it is definitely worth trying. It wasn't bad, the flavor is all there. The guy gave me several samples to try and they all tasted like what you'd expect. The only thing you have to get used to is the texture. It's not dairy, so there's really nothing too 'creamy' about it. It's made from cashew nut extract. If you're willing to try something new, come here. However, if you absolutely need that ice 'cream' fix satisfied, save your open mind and come here another day. There are a few seats outside to enjoy your cone/cup, and there's plenty of stuff to shop for along Solano.

The best vegan ice cream I have ever had! The service here was amazing, too. The person working behind the counter let me sample as many flavors as I wanted, and my favorites were coffee, turmeric, coconut and roasted cashew. I got a little bit of everything because I couldn’t decide.I can’t wait to go back again soon and try more flavors. I saw that they had ice cream cookie sandwiches, so I’ll be trying that next time.Do yourself a favor and check them out!

I am very fond of this place. Delicious flavors and some of them are uniquely special. My favorite is Tumeric! Staff here is sweet!

I didn't expect to like cashew ice cream. Why mess with something that's already awesome?That said, Mr Dewie's is some of the best I've cream I've ever had. If I lived any closer I'd be in trouble.

Pretty good vegan ice cream and decent service. They get extra points in my book for having reusable sampling spoons!!
